2022

Recovering from the pandemic and starting a new job left me with little time to do much this year. I pulled back a bit instead of pushing forward. A less is more approach. My theme for the last 2 years was dolls, and since I only do a single theme for 2-3 years (depending on how popular it is), I changed it up.

Welcome in the Plague. I was always fascinated with the Bubonic Plague and how it shaped the world, plus doing a plague after our pandemic seemed fitting (thought not everyone agreed).

‘Halloween’ cleaning

I went through my props and supplies and cleaned out items that were never used, beat up or I just didn’t want to carry anymore.

  • Goodbye to one of my favorites, the Haunted Grave. It was the first tombstone I built but it was simply too beat up to keep around.
  • I wanted to downsize the graveyard so I gave away the Crane and C. Fodder tombstones. I hope they found a new home.
Something new

I created the Plague Doctors shown below. They were easy and quick to do because I already had skeletons that I repurposed from previous years.

Onto this year

I didn’t get a lot of good pictures this year and for the life of me, I cannot find the videos. So here’s some pictures I could find.

Until next year…
