I created this for the second season of the Witches. It represented a creature revolting against the Witches. The Betrayer had multiple skulls around its head, showcasing how many victims it had taken.
In the future, I will put in a motor so that the spear will be animated, stabbing the Witch over and over.
This was built more-or-less like the Guardian prop. The body was built with PVC, Paper-Mache, duct tape and more. I painted the skull using an airbrush.
As with the Guardian, it didn’t end up too well outside. You can also see how forward heavy it is. The top wanted to fall down and everything wanted to fall forward. I ended up placing rebar to help support it.
In the end, it just didn’t work. But where one fails another succeeds. I like the transformation to the next level. You’ll see that below.
